Bridges for Women Society serves the communities of southern Vancouver Island and the south Gulf Islands that are located on the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia’new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ, (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples.
Bridges is a gutsy, innovative community agency. Our employment training and supportive programs inspire women impacted by violence or abuse, to reclaim their lives and build economic stability. Bridges draws on its extensive knowledge of the impacts of abuse on employability, to provide education, training and consulting to community agencies, employers and government.
